Prince of the Mist Reviews
I received this book through Goodread's First Reads. When it first started out, I thought it was going to be another book full of sex, sex and more sex. But I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It, like the author probably intended, makes you believe in true love and finding the one person you should be with.
what a charming story....check it out!!!
You’ll believe in fairy tales, too, when you read this interesting story of Wildon and Tia. He’s a Sidhe Prince, sent here to stop some of the harmful environmental issues mankind has become involved with. She’s the daughter of a politician and finds herself in danger from an extremist carjacker.Wildon saves her and their worlds collide. He believes she is his soul mate and takes her to Shifra where he marries her without her knowledge. She resists, but finds his magical powers draw her to him. Wildon being incredible handsome doesn’t hurt his chances, either. His mission is to stop Tia’s mother from pursuing her environmentally destructive political path, but Tia thinks he may have done something to alter her mother’s mind. But it isn’t Wildon’s magical powers that have changed her mother, it’s love and Tia and Wildon must reconnect even though they live on different planes to save their’s.Ms Marzec does a wonderful job giving us a very grown up fairy tale. The descriptive writing and modern day issues make this story real. I highly recommended it.
I received this book free thru Goodreads First Reads Giveaway. When i first got this book i was surprised to find it so short. If you like short stories then this is the book for you. If you want to read about faeries then this is the book for you. Honestly i didnt like it one bit. i finished this book in one setting and i couldnt wait to get it over with because it was horrible!!!! Shout out to the author Penelope who actually gave me a signed copy and i will be forever grateful but this just wasnt my cup of tea.
There are no words to describe how disappointed I was in this book. There was no character or plot development whatsoever. The sentences were simple and generic, the conversation was stilted and formulaic and that's not even mentioning the extremely obvious agenda that was practically force fed to us!
