One shouldn't drink and fly, a fact Stephan Forks learns the hard way when he rams another ship in spite of the vastness of space. A moment later, a strange woman stands on his bridge, looking around with a frown. She's clearly a figment of his imagination. Nothing in his colourful past of smuggling and smaller crimes prepared him for people appearing out of nowhere. A moment later, a strange woman stands on his bridge, looking around with a frown. She's clearly a figment of his imagination. Nothing in his colourful past of smuggling and smaller crimes prepared him for people appearing out of nowhere. Maria Callaway has carried more names and appearances than she can keep track of, and she is bored beyond belief. When she runs into Stephan, he seems like an amusing pastime. He is interesting, disorganized, pursued by pirates, handsome, and entertaining. A little too handsome, actually. Maybe she should leave? Neither of them can foresee the chain of events set in motion from their meeting. Adventure and danger go hand in hand during the upcoming days, and the collision resonates not only through their lives, but changes the destiny of the world as they know it. I’ve read the entire Goddess Saga and I can’t tell you enough how much I enjoy these books. Below I have combined my reviews for each book because you will certainly want to have them all, so why not just get this complete set. TOUCH OF THE GODDESS: I am not a sci-fi fan, nor am I an admirer of romance, but I am now a Maria Hammarblad fanatic. I just finished an incredible journey in Maria’s book “Touch of the Goddess”. This book is exploding with adventure and charisma. You anxiously find yourself on one exciting escapade after another, with the omnipotent Maria Callaway, and her dutiful, yet superior mortal Stephan Forks. You half expect to be exhausted by the continuous adrenaline rush, but instead find yourself eager for more. Hammarblad uniquely combines the unexpected with a space voyage unlike any other. A bit of deceit came into play, with a twist that almost had me disappointed, by a popular genre of our time. However, Maria’s exceptional writing style and imagination had me more than delighted that I continued reading. The energy that emanates from these pages is powerful and spins your mind on several different courses. One minute you feel the discovery of ancient ruins as if watching an Egyptian discovery and the next minute you are free to roam through the idea’s of mythology. So many different possibilities masterfully combined, yet smoothly transitioned for an electrifying epic tale. Hammarblad has found the perfect balance of thrill, romance and nail biting adventure. Her characters are original, alluring and certainly leave a lasting impression. This book was not only refreshing but one that I will not soon forget. I can’t wait to read Maria Hammarblad’s Part 2 in the Goddess‘s Saga “Wrath of the Goddess” and strongly recommend this book with ease. Regardless of your normal taste in reading material this story was ingeniously designed to offer a little something for everyone. WRATH OF THE GODDESS: Hammarblad has done it again! This new edition in the Goddess series is simply outstanding. Another exciting voyage into the unknown is awaiting Maria & Stephan, the books magnificent, love-struck pair. This adventure takes them on a bumpy ride into a battle against the ultimate purveyor of evil. Abandoned by all she has ever known Maria finds herself uncharacteristically doubting her ability and questioning her role in the universe. Will her new found insecurities rob her of precious power or will she be able to conquer them enough to save her lover and all of creation? Read another nail biting adventure and find out if it is evil or mankind that is vanquished. Smart, original and cleverly sprinkled with just the right amount of humor, the Goddess series remains in my top 10RETURN OF THE GODDESS: This was not at all what I expected but Maria Hammarblad continually astonishes me. Her ability to weave an unbelievable world into something almost tangible is unparalleled. This book was a rollercoaster ride of tension, smiles and even a few teary moments. In this particular book in The Goddess Saga, the main character Maria (the Goddess herself) finds an understanding for humanity she never expected. The lessons she learns in this book are relatable and humorous but the story never loses its element of surprise and you constantly find yourself wondering what will happen next. Not only does the Goddess find compassion for humans but her love interest Stephan finds an internal strength which surpasses his physical might. He is met with personal demons, extenuating circumstances and hauntings from his past. Several times I found myself with my mouth hung wide open in disbelief. For me the book was wonderfully and brilliantly confusing, keeping me guessing and gasping with amazement, as these heroes face their trials head on. I really enjoyed this beautifully written, adventurous journey and only found disappointment in it being the last book of the Saga. For me there are still so many possibilities and I seriously hope Ms. Hammarblad finds more adventures for these lovable characters.

I won this books through first reads. At first I wasn't sure about the book, but once I got to know the characters I really began to like the story. It was different from anything I've ever read. This was all three books in one with the last one being my favorite. The stories got better with each book.

I’ve read the entire Goddess Saga and I can’t tell you enough how much I enjoy these books. Below I have combined my reviews for each book because you will certainly want to have them all, so why not just get this complete set.TOUCH OF THE GODDESS: I have always been a sci-fi fan so I was really excited to start this story. This book is a unbelievable journey filled with adventure and edge of your seat awesomeness. This book is filled with so much adventure that sometimes you feel like you are wearing yourself out. But, I am telling you...give it a minute. I am not kidding when I say edge of your seat! You follow Maria Callaway and Stephen Forks. Hammarblad leaves you yearning for more with this very adrenaline-packed journey through space. There is a little bit of a twist that is unexpected. I couldn't wait for more!WRATH OF THE GODDESS: Hammarblad has done it again! I was so looking forward to this book and I was not disappointed! Another exciting voyage into the unknown is awaiting Maria & Stephan, the books magnificent, love-struck pair. The ride gets a little interesting in this book. Maria finds herself in some hot water that may rob her of her precious power. This book is nail-biting and you will be dieing for more!RETURN OF THE GODDESS: This book left me a little puzzled. The story was phenomenal. The writing was exceptional. The story was unbelievable. It was a roller coaster ride from start to finish. It kept me guessing all the way through and I am so glad for that. I really love how this book turned out. But, I will tell you why I was puzzled. Because the author stops the story here. I am so disappointed that this is the last book in the series and really think that Hammarblad should write a followup. All in all, I LOVED them! The whole series. I loved the characters and the story line. It was so fresh. I really needed it. I have been reading paranormal for so long that I was falling over myself to start the next one. 5 out of 5 stars.

I liked the characters and the progression of the story, it just didn't hold my interest enough. Took me several years to read over several sittings while I moved onto other books. Last book was my favorite, but still took me about six months of back and forth.
