Funny, applicable, relatable, truthful. This book came at the right time as I was trying to come to terms with being laid off. Danni has been through a lot, but she hasn't let that break her spirit. Celebrate your #WomanMagic with this great book of essays. Quick read that will definitely leave you with some new knowledge and confidence!

I'm a Danni Starr fan, and have been anticipating the release of this book. It did not disappoint! The book is a collection of essays Danni wrote about her life. I relate to her so much. The section near the end about her Grandpa had me in tears, it was like she was describing my grandfather and the loving relationship he & I shared. Keep being you, Danni, and thank you for this book.

This book was raw, real, vulnerable, empowering and beautiful. A collection of essays describing vignettes through her life, some had me laughing, some made my throat close with tears, and some made me angry. Finding out how Kane finally got what he wanted and the dirty way he went about it. I know he did not hold on to that and then play it like an Ace card after the shit I heard come out of his mouth ON THE AIR over the years. I don't often say things happen for a reason, but I'm glad Danni is where she is. Her shine will never be dimmed and her ability to speak across racial and gender lines makes her a unique-corn. Get it? 😁🦄 So glad I got the opportunity to hear this in her own voice and look forward to more from her.

Relatable and RawI didn’t know what to expect when I began reading Danni’s book. I loved that she took us on her journey and I didn’t even realize how much I needed this book in my life. It is the most relatable book I’ve read in a long time. I highly recommend. I grew up listening to her on Hot 99.5 and she was always my favorite. At the time It saddened me to know that she had left my favorite radio station (but now I literally feel hurt knowing my favorite people on the radio that i still listen to til this day treated her so badly. Looks like Fam in the Morning with Danni will be the only station that I listen to on my drive to work).

Danni's story makes it worth reading the book. However, I had greater expectations. I am not saying that the book is bad, but it did not match my expectations.I have first heard part of her story in a podcast hosted by Nora Mcinerny and because of that I wanted to read the book. I think Danni is a better talker than writer - hope she will get offended by this, as this is not my intention.

Love!I read this book in one day. Danni bears her soul about love, laughter, loss, and everything in between. But this book is not written to gain sympathy, but rather is meant to empower. Great messages about being a badass woman on the daily. Highly recommend.

Quick read that had me both laughing and crying. If you’ve been a fan of Danni’s on the radio, you know the audiobook sounds like she’s sitting next to you wanting to chat.

quick read. topics of each chapter jump around a lot. the book as a whole doesn't really have a flow. but there are some good stories/life lessons/ advice sprinkled throughout the book.

I just got this book yesterday personally from Danni Starr. I'm not a book person but I can't seem to put this one down. Emotional uplifting type of book I needed to read.
